Statement of Faith for SoaringWings Ministries
We believe there is but one God who is a triune Being consisting of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy
Spirit. (2Corinthians 13:14
1) We believe that The Holy Bible is the inerrant word of God written by men under the
inspiration of the Holy Spirit. (2Peter 1:21
2) We believe that it contains the revelation of the will of God, His purpose and
design for mankind. (2Timothy 3:16-17
3) We also hold that the consistent theme that runs throughout its pages is the
glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Jesus of the scripture is not only a historical figure but He is also the only begotten Son of God. He
is the One that Moses and the prophets pointed to in the Old Testament. (Luke 24:44
4) We believe that he was
conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin named Mary. (Matthew 1:20-23
5) We believe that he preached of the
coming Kingdom of God and warned man of their sin and their need for repentance. (Mark 1:15
6)  We believe that He
was the express image of The Father and indeed was Immanuel—God with us. In addition, we believe that His life was in
every way a reflection of His divinity, His call and purpose. (Hebrew 1:3

We believe that Jesus was crucified as a sacrificial atonement for our sins and then bodily rose from the grave thus
securing our justification. In so doing He overcame death, hell and the grave and soundly defeated Satan. (Hebrews 2:
8) In addition, we believe that His sacrifice opened the way to Heaven; that He is the door, the only way to God.
Therefore, His name is the only name by which we must be saved. (John 14:6
9) We believe that He later ascended to
Heaven and now sits at the right hand of The Father and will one day return to judge the living and the dead and
receive His saints unto himself. (Matthew 24:30-31

We believe that The Church is a worldwide body of believers who have acknowledged Christ as their Lord and have
committed their lives to serving Him and others. (1Corinthians 12:27
11) We believe that we have been given the dual
commission to take the Good News of Jesus to the world and also to love one another. (Matthew 28:18-20
12) We may
come from different backgrounds and different denominational persuasions but the bond of love we share must
transcend any differences we have. Indeed, it’s our diversity that serves to strengthen and enrich us.(Galatians 3:26-29

Finally, we believe that the mission of SoaringWings Ministries was conceived and birthed through and is ultimately
dependent upon prayer. Therefore, we daily rely on prayer and the consultation of The Word of God, The Holy Bible, in
order to obtain direction, inspiration and motivation. (1Corinthians 2:9-10
14) As we seek God, He will offer direction for
the future and will inspire us with ideas on how we can better serve the community and His Church. In addition, He will
ultimately enable us for the task at hand by empowering us with the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8

Our desire at SoaringWings Ministries can be summed up in this statement. We desire to be an outreach to the lost and
a source of encouragement to Christians all over the world. With this in mind we continue prayerfully seeking ways to
fulfill this mission. We give God all the glory for the miracles He has done with and continues to do through
SoaringWings Ministries. In addition we daily rejoice and give Him thanks for all the friends who stand with us with pray
and deeply appreciated encouragement.

1-May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2Corinthians 13:14)
For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (2Peter 1:21)

2-All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may
be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2Timothy 3:16-17)

3-He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of
Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.” (Luke 24:44)

4- But after [Joseph] had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be
afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to
give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the
prophet: “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” —which means, “God with us.”
(Matthew 1:20-23)

5- “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!” (Mark 1:15)

6- The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he
had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. (Hebrew 1:3)

7- Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the
power of death— that is, the devil— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. (Hebrews 2:14-15)

8- Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

9- “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man
coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his
elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” — Jesus (Matthew 24:30-31)

10- Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. (1Corinthians 12:27)

11- Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of
all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

12-“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you
are my disciples, if you love one another.” — Jesus (John 13:34-35)

13- You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are
Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:26-29)

14- However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love
him” — but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. (1Corinthians  2:9-10)

15- “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” — Jesus (Acts 1:8)
